At Knickerbocker Properties we are ‘House-Proud’
Born in the era of disco, betamax, and big hair, Knickerbocker Properties has grown from one University City building to a portfolio of distinctive properties across some of the most desirable neighborhoods in Philadelphia. We’ve evolved from minding our own portfolio to also taking care of the daily management of owners who’s units compliment our mix as well as share and appreciate our vision of hands-on management – doing everything within reason for the best tenant experience.
Simply, we deliver really nice apartments that are well tended to, up to date, and provide the best value of features at their price point. We show potential tenants only apartments that provide peace of mind and the assurance that our folks in sales, maintenance, and tenant support are there for them whenever they have a question or issue. No one works harder than the Knickerbocker Team. We may not be the biggest, we may not have the coolest website, we may not be the best looking [though we kinda hope so], but one thing we can repeat with confidence; no one works harder for their tenants than the Knickerbocker team.
Keep it Simple
We’ve lived in the buildings ourselves and always strive to deliver an apartment where we’d want our own children to live one day. At the core, we’re just a family business. We take tremendous satisfaction in the fact that we have tenants who are proud of where they live and give us their stamp of approval by renewing year after year. Every Knickerbocker team member will provide you the direct number to their cellphone. We hear you before, during and after the lease is signed. We want great tenant retention and tenants who tell their friends about us. That’s simply our business plan.
When you come to look at our apartments, we won’t hand you a glass of champagne and try to sell you something that’s overpriced. At the same time, we don’t grunt, throw the keys at you, and tell you to look for yourself at some dirty, old, half-baked house conversion performed some time before John met Yoko. A Knickerbocker team member [most of whom have been with us at least 7 years and many close to 25] will answer your questions and help you through every step of the process. With deference to the many fine auto companies out there, we like to think that our unit mix is similar to Toyotas and Lexus; quality, value, and all of the features one needs to have a both impressive and comfortable experience.
